DollarHome is a community-driven housing support platform built around small recurring contributions. Members join through a low monthly subscription, and optional micro-contributions help fund a daily or recurring support pool. That pool is then distributed through a transparent and fair system to selected members who need rent assistance or housing-related support. Hey everyone, I just made this account because I wanted real feedback on a startup idea I’m testing.
The idea is called DollarHome.
It’s a housing-focused community platform where members join with a small monthly subscription, and there is also a daily community pool designed to help one member each day with rent support through a transparent fair system.
The goal is to turn small contributions into real help for people dealing with housing stress, instead of money going to random subscriptions or low-value spending.
Right now I’ve only built a waitlist page to test if there’s real demand before building the full product.
I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback:
- Would something like this interest you?
- What would make you trust it?
- What problems do you see with the model?
- Does the concept feel useful or unrealistic?
I’m not trying to spam or sell anything — just trying to learn if this solves a real problem before investing more time into it.
Brutal honesty is welcome.
