Does Monday Work? is a daily calendar puzzle where your schedule slowly turns into chaos. Place events, discover new rules, rearrange your plans, and somehow make the whole month work while satisfying all different constraints as you progress A small indie game made for people who enjoy puzzles that make them stop and think.
Hey everyone! I was inspired by the daily puzzle games from NYT Games to make a calendar puzzle called Does Monday Work?
Planning things in real life sounds simple until you actually try it, so I turned that scheduling chaos into a puzzle to play. Basically, I was just thinking of anything I could make a game from, so I kept thinking about the everyday things we use, and that's when I thought, "How about a calendar?"
In this game, you’re given a bunch of events that need to fit onto a calendar, but each one comes with different rules and restrictions. As you solve the puzzle, new events reveal new constraints, and sometimes a new rule means you have to completely rearrange what you already planned.
Basically, the calendar is fighting back.
It's a daily puzzle, so there's a new calendar to solve each day with different rules.
I'd love to hear what you think and whether the puzzles feel satisfying—or just make you question your life choices🙃
Feel free to suggest rules that you think will make the game more interesting!
