Hi Product Hunt — I built DiskTidy after seeing AI-assisted development quietly spread storage across caches, editor data, generated output, and forgotten project folders. DiskTidy is a native macOS app that scans locally and reads metadata rather than source code, prompts, sessions, or command history. The free version shows disk usage, AI tool residue, project health, duplicates, and system pressure before asking anyone to pay. Safety is the core of the product: Safe Clean is limited to re-creatable data; Full Clean only considers allowlisted roots for tools that are no longer installed or running; vibe-coded projects are never automatically deleted.
