In India, astrology isn't a novelty — it's how millions of people think through marriage, career moves, and timing. But access still works the way it did decades ago: you wait for an appointment, you pay by the minute, and the question that's actually keeping you up at 2 a.m. waits politely for office hours.
Then came the "AI astrologer" wave, and it had a quiet problem: ask a general-purpose chatbot to read your kundali, and it will confidently generate a reading without computing a single planetary position. Fluent, eloquent — and built on a chart that never existed.
DishaBot is our answer to both.
How it actually works:
🪐 Real math first. Your planetary positions are calculated from your birth date, time, and place — precise astronomy, as Vedic methodology requires. The AI is never allowed to invent a chart; it only interprets one that's already been computed.
📖 Domain training, not internet averages. The interpretation layer is trained on classical Vedic principles — not the statistical soup of horoscope columns a general model falls back on.

The biggest lesson from building this: the WhatsApp plumbing took a couple of weeks. Making the AI actually do astrology instead of just sounding like astrology — that turned out to be the real product, and it's ongoing.
