Hello. I'm Akhil, the developer of Diry.
I have always found it challenging to organize things in my work and personal life. Keeping track of time-based events, such as project submissions or tasks for which I am directly or indirectly responsible, has been particularly difficult. To address this issue, I built Diry, an e-diary with a simple yet effective UI and a quick peek calendar. It is free to use and only requires your email for authentication (no passwords needed).
Each page of your diary follows a bento grid layout, divided into six boxes, each serving a unique purpose:
📝 Tasks: List your daily to-dos here, such as replying to emails.
📓 Notes: Use this space for jotting down anything important you’ll need to look back on, like meeting summaries or lecture highlights.
⚡ Actions: Keep a record of significant events you’re involved with, such as signing contracts, submitting reports, publishing articles, or deploying apps.
💭 Thoughts: Got something on your mind? Write it down here before it slips away.
📂 Folders: Organize all the day's related files, such as invoices, documents for review, or payslips.
💵 Finance: Track your daily financial activities, noting down income received and expenses paid.
Plus, the monthly calendar view offers a bird’s-eye view of your entire month, making it quick and easy to find specific events without needing to dig through your Gmail for actions from weeks ago.
I hope you find it useful and appreciate any feedback!

Congratulations on your launch, is diry.ai free forever? What is your business model I am curious? And how are you different from the likes of notion, evernote and even trello?

Hey. Thanks for your interest.
Yes, it is designed to be free for individuals. There is no 'business' yet, as the intention is to create something useful for people to try and derive value from. However, in the future, it is a good idea to introduce a paid plan for organizations, 'Diry for Teams', while keeping it free for individuals.
Notion, Trello, and Evernote are quite different from Diry. At its core, Diry replicates a traditional 'Diary', where everything a user adds is bound to a specific date in the calendar.

Congratulations on your launch. I checked your app. Looks cool. Can we able to add new topics like thoughts, folder.
Excellent UI. I really love the landing page.
Can you speak more on how would one switch over from Google Calendar to this ?
Also, I never used Notion, but I hear all the cool kids are into it...I've seen screenshots of people doing similar things, but honestly I prefer your UI layout more. How would somebody migrate from Notion ?
