I built Dikke Stift because I kept running into the same problem: I wanted AI help with a document, but it had names, addresses or account numbers in it that I didn't want to paste into ChatGPT. So Dikke Stift finds the sensitive bits (BSN, IBAN, emails, names, addresses, and more) in text, PDFs or Word docs, lets you check and adjust the highlights, and gives you a clean version back. Everything happens locally in your browser: nothing is ever uploaded or stored. The part I'm most proud of: once you get an answer back from the AI, Dikke Stift can restore the original sensitive data for you, so you never have to copy-paste it by hand.
