How does the API pricing work for heavier usage, and are there any file size or conversion limits I should know about before hooking it into a side project?
@yaz2013053 most of what you are asking is listed here https://digiutil.com/api-docs
api requests are prioritized over browser-only requests.
All in all def go for it with your side project. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
My goal in this is an affordable api.
Genuinely curious here, does the file size limit cap out for the free browser side or is it more about what my connection can handle?
@melihacelercmv max 1024mb for upload
How does the API handle really large files like video projects, is there a size cap per request?
@nihatho6p 1024mb for now
Love that it runs without an account and keeps things local. One thing that would really help me as a user though is being able to set custom output quality sliders for things like PDF compression, since the current presets sometimes end up with files either way too big or slightly fuzzy on text scans.
@selinkutbag9gj how do you mean by text scan?
Compressed a batch of images in like two seconds and didn't have to create an account or hand over an email. The browser-only approach actually delivers on speed here.
ran a quick pdf compress test and it finished way faster than the desktop tool i usually use, plus nothing asked me to sign up first. solid pick for one-off file jobs
