I hate writing API changelogs. I always forget what changed, skip details, or just don't do it at all. So I built DiffLogs. Paste your old and new API spec and AI generates a clean changelog in seconds. Don't have a spec? Just type what changed in plain English. - Detects breaking changes automatically - Supports YAML, JSON, Postman, GraphQL - Shareable public changelog URLs - Team collaboration with shared history Free tier available. Built in 4 days. Would love brutal feedback.

Honestly. I build this because I am genuinely lazy about documentation. Every time I shipped an API update I'd either write a super vague "Bug fixes and improvements" changelog or just skip it entirely. my teammates had no idea what changed and why.
I started building DiffLogs as a quick weekend tool just for myself. Four days later It turned into a full product with team collaboration, shareable links, multiple format support, and an AI that actually writes changelogs that sound human.
The biggest evolution during building was realizing that not everyone has a formal spec file. A lot of developers just know what they changed. so I added the free text mode where you can just type "I removed the /charge endpoint and added /payments" and it formats it into a proper changelog automatically. That turned out to be the most popular feature in testing.
Still actively building, Slack integration, email notifications, and API keys for CI/CD are on the roadmap with much more coming.
Would love feedback on what's missing or broken. I use this myself every day so every bug report goes straight to the top of my list.
