DevLaws is an automated code governance platform designed to enforce engineering standards and eliminate architectural technical debt. It continuously scans code repositories through you code agent to ensure developers follow team-specific design principles and compliance rules before code is merged into production.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built DevLaws because the foundational engineering principles shaping modern technology systems are scattered across academic papers, blogs, and obscure GitHub threads.
Concepts like Conway’s Law, the CAP Theorem, Brooks’ Law, and Lehman’s Laws heavily dictate how we design, scale, and manage real-world systems. Despite their impact, most engineers only encounter them in passing conversations.
DevLaws centralizes and transforms this foundational knowledge into an interactive, modern resource for software engineers, tech leads, and architects.
Key features available at launch:
• Explore 110+ engineering laws spanning software design, distributed systems, and team dynamics.
• Analyze real-world case studies demonstrating how these principles play out in production.
• Map principles directly to the architecture of your active development projects.
• Generate visual law cards to easily align and educate your engineering team.
• Track trending concepts that technical teams are researching and discussing weekly.
The ultimate goal is to make engineering wisdom highly accessible, simple to understand, and immediately applicable to live production environments.
When we launch, I would highly appreciate your feedback on:
• The overall UI/UX and interface navigation.
• Any critical missing principles, laws, or mental models.
• Future features or integrations you would want as an industry engineer or architect.
Thank you for checking out DevLaws, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts below.
