Hi Product Hunt,

This project is not meant to be just another boilerplate. It was designed to reduce the time, effort, and mental overhead that often come with designing and launching a SaaS product—especially in a European context.

Across multiple projects, we observed that a significant amount of energy is spent early on making the same structural decisions: authentication, payment flows, data handling, compliance defaults, and how everything fits together.

In Europe, these decisions also carry regulatory and operational constraints that are often treated as an afterthought. That combination frequently leads to friction and early fatigue before meaningful product work begins.

This foundation is intentionally opinionated.

Its goal is to remove common design and compliance decisions by providing a clean, production-ready baseline aligned with European expectations. This includes GDPR-friendly defaults, support for both Stripe and Mollie, and a clear separation between application logic and operational concerns.

One example of this approach is the choice of React Router v7.

While it is less promoted than other frameworks, it offers a simpler and more predictable mental model that fits well with long-lived SaaS products. For this use case, it helps keep the architecture understandable and maintainable over time.

This is not a one-off release. The foundation is designed to grow over time, with additional packs and use cases built on top of the same principles: reducing setup effort, limiting unnecessary complexity, and prioritizing long-term maintainability.

Overall, the focus is on reducing setup time, lowering cognitive load, and helping European teams start building their actual product sooner, with fewer trade-offs between speed, clarity, and compliance.

We’re happy to answer questions and discuss the reasoning behind these choices.

Thanks for taking a look!
