I built DEFEND because I believe there's a gap between writing a great resume and being genuinely prepared to defend it in an interview.
As someone who has worked in AI and data science and gone through technical interviews myself, I've seen how a single line on a resume can lead to an entire chain of questions. Mention RAG, and you might be asked about chunking, embeddings, retrieval evaluation, or why you chose a particular vector database. The same applies to almost any skill or project.
Most interview preparation tools focus on generic questions or mock interviews. But I wanted to solve a problem that comes before the interview: helping candidates understand exactly what their resume commits them to.
That's why I built DEFEND.
It analyzes your resume claim by claim, identifies the depth an interviewer may expect, highlights potential preparation gaps, and creates a focused plan to help you prepare.
The goal isn't to make candidates memorize answers or artificially inflate their confidence. It's to help them build the understanding and confidence to stand behind their own work.
I built DEFEND for anyone who has ever looked at their resume before an interview and wondered, "What if they ask me about this?"
I'd love to make that feeling a little less intimidating.
