I created DeepExa after losing my grandmother. I realized that even for someone I loved and thought I knew so well, there was so much of her story that had already been lost. I found myself asking questions that no one could answer anymore. Who were her parents? What did they sacrifice? Why did they leave home? What kind of lives did they live before I was ever born? DeepExa was built to answer those questions, not just for my family, but for every family. Everyone deserves the chance to know the people whose lives shaped their own.
