I built it for the engineers to make their IoT journey smooth and flawless. And eventually this platform will reduce the financial burden to every developers. DecentIoT's mission to democratize IoT development and to empower every individuals.
When building IoT projects or scaling smart businesses, we all face the same wall: massive subscription fees ($29-$500/month) just to use basic tools like map widgets or GPS tracking along with device limits, message limits, data ownership limits and so on.
I wanted to fix this, but not by taking on massive server bills myself. DecentIoT achieves this through a fully decentralized architecture.

📡 Decent Tracker Server: I integrated a Traccar server pipeline, allowing you to connect any commercial GPS tracker device straight to your dashboard.
⚡ Decent Distributed Realtime Streams: Instead of funneling all your device data through a single, expensive central server, DecentIoT connects directly to your own HiveMQ or Firebase instances.
How it works for free: For example, our custom Arduino library connects your microcontrollers to HiveMQ Cloud. HiveMQ offers 100 free connections. One connection goes to your DecentIoT dashboard, leaving you 99 free device connections with zero server costs for you, and zero costs for me! Even you can store your IoT data into your choosen own databases like Firestore, MongoDB, InfluxDB (many more coming soon)! What's more you need to scale??
