I like the long-term thinking, but a resolution of "day" is too little. If you're really thinking long-term then the smallest unit should be weeks or maybe even months, not day. It goes against the greatest value of this calendar.
I would looooove to hear what @singularityu or @longnow [or @ESYudkowsky / @robinhanson / etc, the usual equally optimistic as pessimistic futurists] for that matter thinks of a planner that looks out into 2029.
