Deburr turns a customer drawing into a signed AS9102 first article inspection report. The AI balloons every dimension, tolerance, feature control frame and note, and flags what it isn't sure about with a plain reason. Paste CMM output or tell the copilot a reading: pass and fail show on the drawing, and an out-of-cal gauge blocks sign-off. A preparer and an approver sign Forms 1, 2 and 3. $249/mo for the whole team, no per-seat fees. Free ballooner, no signup needed.

Hi Product Hunt, I built Deburr.
For the non-machinists here: when a machine shop makes the first part of a new job for an aerospace or medical customer, it has to prove every dimension on the drawing is in spec. That's a first article inspection, and the paperwork follows a standard called AS9102.
In most shops it goes like this. Someone opens the drawing in a PDF tool and draws a numbered circle (a "balloon") on every dimension, tolerance and note, sometimes 200 of them. They type each one into an Excel form, copy the readings over from the CMM printout by hand, check every gauge's calibration date, and then chase down a second person to sign. The part took an hour to make. The report takes the afternoon.
What Deburr does:
• Drop in the drawing. The AI balloons every characteristic, GD&T frames and notes included.
• It tells you what it isn't sure about, with a reason, so you check the few that need a person instead of all of them.
• Paste CMM output or type readings. Pass and fail show on the drawing.
• A copilot that does the work: tell it a reading and it's logged; if something's out of tolerance, it drafts the NCR.
• A reading taken with an out-of-calibration gauge blocks sign-off.
• A preparer and an approver sign, and AS9102 Rev C Forms 1, 2 and 3 come out as a PDF.
The design rule I care most about: the AI never signs. It prepares; people decide. In quality work, a tool that says "I'm not sure about this one" is worth more than one that's confidently wrong.
Pricing: $249 a month for the whole shop, with no per-seat fees, and a 14-day trial with no card.
Try it without signing up: getdeburr.com/balloon takes a PDF drawing and gives you back the ballooned drawing and a Form 3 spreadsheet. Please don't upload ITAR or export-controlled drawings to the free tool.
What I'd love from you: run it on a real drawing and tell me what it gets wrong. And if you know someone who works in manufacturing quality, they're the people I most want to hear from.
