Hey Product Hunt 👋
I've spent the last few years around small businesses in the Gulf, and the same scene kept repeating: a manager with a WhatsApp group for check-ins, a spreadsheet for leave balances, and a payroll day that eats an entire afternoon. Nobody chose that system. It just accumulated.
DawamHR (دوام) is our attempt to replace it with one thing.
What it does:
Attendance — check-in and check-out from the phone, with the records ready when you need them
Leave — requests, approvals, and balances that stay accurate on their own
Payroll — salaries calculated from real attendance data, WPS-ready
It's built for teams small enough that HR is somebody's second job. If you're running a 5–50 person company here, this is aimed squarely at you.
I'd love to hear from anyone who's dealt with payroll compliance in the region — what breaks for you? And if you're outside the GCC, I'm curious whether the same spreadsheet problem shows up where you are.
Happy to answer anything in the thread today.
