DataMonkey makes it easy for you to visualize, combine and understand geographic data in seconds. The highlight: you can use the chat to search for and add open data via natural language if your own data doesn't show you the whole picture.

Congratulations on the launch! Although I am not an expert in GIS, I can still feel the charm of this product and the infinite imagination possibilities. Because I have been doing research on AI+API recently, I have two questions that I am interested in: 1. Does your product support reading the OpenAPI of other products as a data source? 2. After the data is processed by your products, will you provide OpenAPI for other products to read the data? What dimensions of data and capabilities will be provided?
Paul von Berg
@an_zuo thanks for your support and the questions! Honestly: We have not been looking at OpenAPI use cases so far. In our mind we wanted to integrate official datasources as world bank which have usually some proprietary way to access them. However I see a clear value in thinking a bit broader. Would you be up for a virtual coffee to discuss it in a bit more detail? - Feel free to ping me on LinkedIn.

@paul_von_berg Congratulations on winning first place! I'm looking forward to having an in-depth conversation with you and your team, but it needs to be scheduled for next month. I feel that my understanding of your products is not deep enough at the moment, and I hope to have a clearer understanding before we start discussions. Additionally, I am busy preparing for the launch of my new project this month. Next month will be a better time, and I will contact you through LinkedIn then. Take care and see you soon!🤝

@an_zuo thank you so much and totally cool! - Looking forward to our exchange :) PS: Good luck with your launch & the prep!

Interesting launch, congrats! Curious how you're handling data quality and accuracy when combining public data with user-uploaded datasets? Ensuring reliable results seems crucial for making good decisions.
Paul von Berg
@simonas_kauzonas super important question as reliability is key and very difficult to achieve when individuals can label data. We are training our AI to use multiple tags which are related to the queried object to ensure a complete picture. Just one of my favorite examples is that bridges are typically labeled as "bridge =yes" or as "man_made=bridge", however have the same meaning. This training is for sure not complete yet, however we see already mature usage of labels and combinations. We are also providing the query (when clicking thumbs down) to enable everyone to verify the queries and provide the datasource so it can be cross checked. We are also allowing to change queries, which allows already to start with the skeleton of the query and so makes it easier. Again: Great question and thanks for your support!

💎 Pixel perfection
This tool looks awesome! During my data science career I was working on a geo data project trying to identify the right spots for charging stations to improve e-mobility in urban areas and I just remember how difficult it was to get the right data and also make it visually appealing (in R), so people can actually understand it. With DataMonkey it would have been a piece of cake - congrats on the launch! 🚀

@phiele Thank you so much for your support & sharing your story, Philipp!
Asís
This is an amazing tool!! Used it already to find new bike lanes in Madrid and it worked like a charm! Would LOVE to have this as a mobile app, is this on your roadmap? 🤩
Paul von Berg
@soyasis Glad to hear you like DataMonkey Asís! We just had a discussion on mobile yesterday, maybe we do need to build it, indeed!

Congrats on the launch, @irene_ternes ! It seems like a cool solution for anyone dealing with location-based info. Looking forward to seeing how it grows!

@nicolepark Thanks so much for your positive feedback, Nicole!

Love the idea. Extended my Support. Curious, is there a way to sortlist a few spots and come back to it later? Looking forward to see how it evolves.
Paul von Berg
@ashitvora Thank you Ashit!! - you can filter the data and export it. This data can then be used back on the map whenever you like! After the free 7 day trial you can create an account and use the full product suite where you can also store the files online and collaborate on them with colleagues! With the Product Hunt coupon PH-30 the first month is on us :) Thank you for your support 💜
