"The best render engine for value for money"
What do you like best about D5 Render?
After trying several render engines, I can say that D5 is undoubtedly the one with the best value for money.
One feature that made me love it immediately is the real-time render. While designing with SketchUp it is absolutely essential for me to have immediate feedback on what I am doing. Also, the real-time render really saves you a lot of time, and if there is something that is not the way you want it, you change it on the fly.
One addition that is not at all obvious is the presence of a lot of textures, and a lot of assets.
Another feature that makes D5 the best I've tried is the simplicity of use: there are some render engines that can have a slightly higher quality, but it takes many courses and many hours to master the program, with D5 on the other hand it's all very clear and just a few simple tutorials are enough.
It is a program that is updated very often, including several new textures and new assets, also the team is always very attentive to what users suggest.

What do you dislike about D5 Render?
There are some things that could currently be improved:
- camera movement through hardware such as SpaceMouse is not supported
- the available furnishings are very "oriental"
- there is some clutter in the names of textures and assets, so it is not super fast to find what you are looking for
- some textures may have a higher quality

As a passionate 3D artist, I've had the privilege of experimenting with various rendering engines throughout my career. However, I recently stumbled upon an absolute game-changer in the world of architectural visualization and 3D design – D5 Render Engine. Not only is it incredibly powerful, but it also comes with a remarkable perk – it's absolutely free! Allow me to share my experience and explain why D5 Render Engine has become an integral part of my creative process.
1st of all , I was 1000% in favour of unbiased rendering which corona offers. But after trying my hands on d5, I m amazed with workflow and ease of use and almost no difference in output compared to corona and other rendering software’s out there. Obviously corona have upper hand in his unbiased rendering but 95% of today’s clients prefer cinematic render for their projects which attracts more eyes on banner and website and after trying d5 and Lumion I can say d5 is most easiest , near to perfect and very fast rendering software out in market right now.
For now I m using community version and its 100% free with all features which I need .
Once I m more comfortable with workflow I ll plan to get pro subscription as I saw many special tools and models which are ready to use for pro version . But even free version is amazing and works much better than my expectations.
A solid real time 3D rendering software which is way faster and easy-to-use and cheaper than others I know. Could be a great option for both entry and professional levels.
Real-time render that changed the game for me. Easy-to-learn UI which makes a learning curve way smoother than usually. Good quality of the final renders, huge asset libriary and a very generous pricing policy. Strongly recommend to give it a try, switched from Twinmotion and Enscape to D5.

At firts i was skeptical about this software, i started using vray, then lumion for efficiency and faster render times, then i discovered lumion and was happy for a while but no too much people can afford original pro license, so i turn my head to d5 render from almost the very beggining of the software when you could purchase a lifetime license, and from that day forward i regret not buying it
