Most services force you behind a $20/month paywall, throttle resolution, or worst of all—upload your sensitive personal photos and signatures to untrusted cloud servers. I wanted a tool that respects user privacy and runs with zero infrastructure costs. Using Next.js, WebAssembly, and Web Workers, CUTOUT Studio processes everything locally in your browser: 1. High-fidelity image segmentation without backend compute. 2. An Otsu thresholding engine built specifically to clean messy ink signatures and thumb impressions for government portal uploads. 3.
