Hey Product Hunters! 👋 I’m Gautham, Founder & CEO of cumma.
If you speak Tamil, you know the word "cumma" usually means "simply," "just like that," or "doing nothing." It is a casual, everyday word.
But building a startup is the exact opposite of cumma.
Over the last year of scaling, we watched brilliant founders hit a wall. If you are building a SaaS product, you just need a laptop. But the moment you build something physical, deep-tech, or hardware-integrated, the infrastructure breaks. You need a commercial lease for your team. You need a separate NABL-accredited lab for testing. You need prototyping tools, CAD/PCB design access, and different vendors for IP and compliance.
Innovation is completely bottlenecked by fragmented, high-CapEx infrastructure.
We realized we needed to give a new, permanent definition to the word cumma. We wanted to turn it into the ultimate synonym for Access to Innovation Infrastructure.
