I built crystl because i wanted a way to manage CLI agents like Claude Code without constantly losing track of windows and sessions and project progress. I was tired of hunting through tabs to approve things or answer questions. I wanted everything in a feed. I devised "Crystl Rail" a rail you can doc to left/right/top of your screen. It's a control center where agent notifications.
I'd love to hear about other founder and developer workflows with agents and which tools they like and don't like and why. Also, what would you like t see an agentic terminal do?
This app really impressed me. I've had way more success running multiple agents and doing orchestration workflows then I ever had with alacritty, Warp, or Ghostty (which is great, but not for lots of agents). I love how projects and sessions are grouped and the notifications keep me on top of everything. The iPhone app is super well designed. Customer support has been amazing. I also love that everything is stored locally on my machine.
I would love a version for linux.
I tried the alternatives, and it was difficult to keep track of what agents were doing.
Been using crystl for my projects, and it made the terminal side of the work a lot easier to manage. The multi-agent orchestration and isolated shards kept sessions from stepping on each other, which saved a lot of time during remote development. What stood out most was how practical it feels. It is built specifically for Claude Code, but it also supports other AI agents, so it fits into a real software workflow instead of forcing one way of working. The Project organization tools and collaboration features were solid too, especially the Crystl Quest part for team work. Small company, but you can tell they care about excellence and customer care. Overall, a great experience.
Its very easy to use any coding agent, not restricted to Claude Code only.
