A free, open-source terminal side panel for Claude Code. It groups the files each Claude Code turn changed, counts a file as reviewed only after it has been on screen long enough, relays one-line notes to Claude through hooks without interrupting the turn, and offers a daily stack-machine puzzle, a card roguelike, a typing game and flashcards between turns.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Zhaobin, and I built Cowait for Claude Code.
Half of working with Claude Code is waiting. The tools I found for that time either pull you away (games, ads, trivia) or reward you for waiting longer. I wanted the opposite: spend the wait on the thing most worth doing, which is reading what Claude just changed.
So Cowait sits in a pane next to Claude Code and, through its hooks:
- groups each turn's changed files, titled with what you asked for
- lets you type one line ("keep the 200, the frontend depends on it") that Claude sees on its very next step, without interrupting it
- only counts a file as reviewed if it actually stayed on screen, so the coverage number means something
Once you're through, there's a daily Stack Puzzle (same for everyone), a card roguelike and flashcards, paid for with energy you earn by reviewing.
It's MIT-licensed, local-only, no account: npm install -g cowait-cli
I'd love to hear what feels off, and what you'd want it to do next.
