COVID-19 DATA SONIFICATION: Hear the Coronavirus evolution, day by day.

Hello, Chelidon Frame here, maker of the project "COVID-19 DATA SONIFICATION". I'm a sound-artist, electroacoustic musician and developer from Milan, Italy, keen on numbers and experimental music. As you may know Italy’s been hit bad by Covid19. In those already difficult days we are overwhelmed by numbers, daily stats and estimates: I think that with this overexposure to data one can grow accustomed to them, moving away to the real mean behind them. With this project I've tried a different approach, trying to reinterpret them in a more direct way by using sounds and visuals related to their daily variations to depict how chaotic and heavy they can be. Day by day, as the Covid-19 situation evolves, the numbers change, and so do the frequencies of the sounds that we hear, abandoning the initial harmony. Thanks for your support and stay safe! CF
