Hey PH!
I built this because our current cloud users didn't always want to use our VPS. Sometimes they wanted to use their existing hardware, which they either had at home (laptops) or had with other providers (cloud boxes). This is my way to provide free access to Cosyra for our users, so you can enjoy the user experience without having to pay for the cloud.
In case you haven't heard of us before, our mission is to bring you a dev tool that will allow you to ship software e2e without a computer. I dream of a day where I can run agents on anything but my main computer.
Security note: Traffic can only be decrypted by either your mobile device or server. Keys are stored on device. I have OpenAI daybreak running 24/7 to alert to any new vulnerabilities that pop up and the resolution pipeline is almost entirely automated.
This is my fav launch today. Though it' be cool to keep my computer at home while I'm away and kick off tasks as I think of those tasks. Since you're giving control of my computer, how do I know it's secure
@artstavenka1 Thanks, that's exactly how I use it. On security for remote control:
End-to-end encrypted, so our relay only ever carries ciphertext
No open ports, since your computer only makes outbound connections
Pairing needs a QR scan plus approving matching digits on the computer itself
The phone pins your computer's key, like SSH known_hosts
Fresh keys for every connection (forward secrecy)
'cosyra remote stop' shuts it off instantly
Something I'm working on now: instant shutdown of the tunnel from any phone paired to a computer.
Getting a cloud Ubuntu terminal without touching a VPS is the bit that would actually get me to check on a long agent run from the bus, instead of carrying the laptop for something I only need to glance at.
