Corridor Explorer synthesises scattered intelligence that used to take days - pricing, demand, and regulatory - into one view across 48 corridors. Built for people who evaluate and price new currency corridors. Free preview.
Hi everyone, Manas here 👋
I spent nearly two decades in cross-border payments & fintech, most recently a long stretch at Payoneer. One frustration followed me the whole way: understanding a corridor means piecing together pricing, demand, and regulation from scattered decks, spreadsheets, and provider sites. It takes days, everyone builds a different version, and it's rarely objective, since the picture tends to lean toward whoever built it.
Corridor Explorer is my attempt to fix that. It synthesises pricing, demand, regulatory & infrastructure intelligence across 48 cross-border corridors, structured in an easy, comparable way.
To make it concrete, for any corridor you can see:
‣ the size of cross-border flows
‣ who's moving money and why
‣ competitors and their FX spread
‣ rising or falling demand signals
‣ how hard the regulation is on each end, and
‣ which banking rails actually move the money
On GBP to INR, for instance, the FX spread ranges from 52.8 to 174.2 bps depending on the provider - a 3× gap on a corridor this mature.
The other half of the story: I built this solo, in about two months, with AI doing the heavy lifting on the "how" while I brought the domain knowledge on the "what" and "why." I believe a combination of a domain expert and AI tooling will make independent intelligence products a real category. This is my first. There'll be more.
There's a free preview covering three corridors if you'd like to poke around: fxandfloat.com
I'd genuinely value your feedback, especially from anyone who works in or around payments. What's missing, what's confusing, what you'd want next. That's what I'm here for today.

@manasmody Congrats, Manas. I upvoted Corridor Explorer. The corridor-level pricing and regulatory comparison is especially useful, particularly seeing how wide FX spreads can vary on mature routes. Curious how you’re validating the underlying data as the corridors and providers change over time.

@spotch_founder Thanks, Nick! Appreciate your upvote and question. Two parts to the answer: first, the FX rates come from a daily API pull. For competitor rates, we rely on 2 leading providers who publish data by currency pairs - 1 is the primary source, and 1 is a fallback in case the data is missing. Second, on the regulatory side. I compiled the first set of research semi-manually, working with an AI agent. The skill is finalised and being tested. Once done, it will be automated to run at least once in 30 days for each corridor, on a rolling basis.
