I originally got the idea while working in construction myself. I kept seeing the same problem over and over again, important job-site photos and updates were scattered across camera rolls, WhatsApp chats, and random folders. Once projects got busy, everything became hard to track. Most of the software I found felt way too bloated, complicated, or built more for office staff than actual crews on-site. I wanted to build something simpler that people could realistically open and use throughout the workday without fighting the software itself. While building Construkt, the biggest thing that changed was listening to real feedback from contractors and field teams. The product slowly evolved from just organizing photos into a lightweight field operations platform with crew management, scheduling, timelines, and reporting, while still keeping the experience simple and fast.
