Hi Product Hunt, I’m Eli, Head of Product at a large robotics company. I built Compass OS for people like me: senior product leaders looking for their next role, and the ones who aren’t looking yet but want to be ready.
When I started looking for a VP or Head of Product role, the right roles were scattered across company career pages, and every AI resume tool I tried added numbers I’d never said. Volume tools made it worse: at this level, a spray of auto-applied applications burns your name with recruiters. And I kept asking: how do I keep this current for next time? What am I worth in the market? How do I stay on top of my career between searches?
So Compass OS is my answer, a Career OS:
It finds Director, VP and Head-of roles on job boards, 28 built-in company career sites, and any company you add on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and about 90 more hiring systems. Then it scores each one against your experience and tells you why.
It tailors your resume and cover letter for each role, then checks every bullet’s claims and numbers against your profile. Anything it can’t trace is flagged before you send.
The Compass Apply Chrome extension fills in the application and attaches the tailored resume. It never submits; that click stays yours.
Between searches, it keeps your profile and resume current, checks your LinkedIn, shows pay ranges, and has interview practice for your role.
On Plus and Pro, it works inside Claude, ChatGPT and VS Code. Anything that changes your account waits until you confirm it.
Free plan, no card. Free uses AI with your own key (Google’s Gemini key is free). Plus is $19/month or $180/year with AI included (100 credits a month), and your own key is unlimited on any plan. Pro is $49/month for more AI and live voice mock interviews. For launch, code PRODUCTHUNT gives the first 100 people 3 months of Plus (Settings → Plan).
I’d love blunt feedback, especially from anyone running a senior search right now: what would make you trust a tool like this with your resume?
