Hi PH 👋 Quick backstory. I've been on pat leave with my son for a few weeks, and my friends and colleagues have been shipping like crazy, mostly Claude Code and Astra projects. I kept missing launches and milestones, and asking "what are you working on?" every time started to feel like homework for them. So between naps I built a place where the work shows up on its own. Connect GitHub and each project becomes a building on your Land. It grows, lights up, or goes quiet based on real activity, and you can literally see when someone's agent is working. Landmarks put a flag on a building when something real happens, your Hearth keeps your streak of days spent building, and bridges connect you to the people you build with. I put my own side projects on it too, including an e-paper high-contrast display I'm making for my son! It's entirely free to claim a Land, and there's a Gem waiting in your settings when you do. One Gem puts your building on The Commons (the front page) for a day to build awareness of what you're launching. Everyone will get a free gem each month as a warm welcome gift. Commit Land is early and small (but growing thanks to you:), so if something breaks, tell me and I'll fix it from the couch. Very fun! Any chance I could paste a link to a public repo I'm working on in an org? I can't install apps in the org, but the repo is public.

@raphaeltm Thank you, so glad you're having fun! 🙌 Not by link just yet. Right now Commit Land reads repos through its GitHub App. Two ways in today though:

When you go to install it on the org, GitHub sends a request to your org owners to approve. You can scope it to just that one repo, and it's read-only (no write access to anything).
Or start the building without a repo: in onboarding there's an "add a project without a repo" box. Then post updates yourself, or let Claude Code post them through our MCP server as you work. You can connect the repo later.

Pasting a public repo link is a really good idea. I'm adding it to the list!
