Why I built it: I’ve spent years on the finance and operations side of a business, and group trips with friends had the same problem I saw at work: information scattered everywhere and money nobody could track cleanly. Four hundred messages, three polls, someone asking for the itinerary again, and a “bro, did you send it?” two weeks later. At BrightMade we build software around how people actually work, so Comitiva puts the plan, the bookings and the shared money for a trip in one place. One rule I won’t bend: it never holds your money. You pay in your own UPI app, and a balance changes only when the person you paid confirms it.
