Hi Product Hunt!
I’m incredibly excited to share Colorz with you today.
As a builder, I realized that choosing a great color palette is only half the challenge. Making sure those colors work well together in a real UI, meet accessibility standards, and can easily be translated into code often means jumping between multiple tools.
That’s exactly why I built Colorz — to bridge the gap between creative color exploration and practical implementation.
With Colorz, you can:
- Generate and explore palettes using the spacebar to quickly discover new color combinations and lock the colors you love.
- Extract dominant colors and UI themes directly from images.
- Test palettes with 5 different color blindness simulations and check WCAG AA/AAA contrast ratios in real time.
- Explore 15 precise shades, tints, and tones for any color, along with its psychological associations.
- Export your palettes as shareable URLs, PDF, SVG, ASE for Figma, or ready-to-use Tailwind CSS.
The goal is simple: make working with color easier, more thoughtful, and more accessible - all in one place.
And this is only the beginning. I’m already working on more powerful and exciting features that will be coming to Colorz soon.
I built Colorz around a simple belief: “Where Color Makes the World Better.”
I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. Which feature do you find most useful, and what would you like to see added next?
I’ll be here throughout the day to answer questions and hear your feedback.
