CodeStream is a game-changer for remote software teams spread out over multiple timezones and continents. It's a code review tool, code discussion, contextual issue reporting, and more - all built into your IDE. My team doesn't even need to use the same IDE because CodeStream supports all of the IDEs we use. We've been using it for 8 months and the communication, collaboration, and code quality has never been better. I highly recommend this product!
Claudio Pinkus
@mlntn Awesome to hear, Jared!

This is a really exciting advancement for CodeStream. If you haven't tried CS before, it has been both an awesome product and a great company to work with... and things are only getting better. Great stuff CS team!
Claudio Pinkus
@dongryphon Hi Don! Thanks for your support.
Luis Fernando
It's a great idea for #GitHub and all other version control software out there... Implement a code review with no Pull Request involved
Peter Pezaris
@foluis thank you for the feedback! pull requests are a pretty heavy-weight solution when all you want is some feedback on a work-in-progress. codestream aims to make that easier, and yet still integrate with your PRs if/when you want a more formal review. and merge, of course :)

Our team has been using CodeStream for about a year now — we love it. They've proven a point: code reviews belong inside code editors. GitHub is finally making some innovative moves thanks to @natfriedman 's leadership — but CodeStream just threw down the gauntlet on code reviews. Tabbing back and forth between browser and editor simply feels broken now. GitHub feels redundant. I'm overjoyed that CodeStream is bringing fresh thinking to this space and I hope they disrupt the 🤬 out of it. Beyond that, the CodeStream team is exceptionally capable & responsive to feedback — this isn't their first rodeo: they know how to build customer-centric companies and products. Thrilled to be one of those customers!
Peter Pezaris
@natfriedman @zackaboo thank you Zack! your team's feedback has been invaluable in shaping our product, and we look forward to continuing to work with you and others to make codestream the best it can be 🙏

This is going to make my workflow so much easier 🤗 This is going to be a great tool to teach to up and coming developers when learning integration tools for the first time and get in touch with using extension tools in VSC.
Claudio Pinkus
@vincent_bhang Thank you for giving it a try!

I’d have to say to the untrained eye this is a coders paradise with this new system. I love it and can feel how much of a difference it’ll make in my life. Especially as a new coder to the scene I really do appreciate this new form or business.
Peter Pezaris
@emmanuel_francois thanks! we like to think of it as paradise too! we're working hard on making it work well for everyone so if you have any feedback please do let us know.
