Launched this week

ClutterSignal is a browser extension that tells you if a link or email looks suspicious or dangerous, and why before you act. Choose between a local check or the cloud check to our servers. Any information sent to our servers are only used to diagnose the message and nothing is stored after running through our security screen. Start with the 7-day free trial, then $4.99/month. Chrome now; Firefox and Edge coming.

I'm Calvin. I work in finance in real estate, startups, and investments where one email can cost someone everything. I kept getting asked "is this email real?" by people who couldn't tell, and the honest answer was usually "I'd have to check."
So I built ClutterSignal: open an email or scan the preview, and it tells you in plain English whether it looks suspicious and why from [lookalike domain / brand-new domain / mismatched sender / known threat list].
How it handles your data: the message properties are sent to our servers where AI dissects it and gives back signals on whether or not the email is safe. From there nothing else is stored on the server so your email stays private.
Pricing: 7-day free trial, then $4.99/month.
What it won't do: catch everything. A clean result means no warning signs were found, not a guarantee. If it flags something wrongly, please tell me as false positives are the bug we care most about.
Firefox and Edge versions are in store review now. ClutterSignal is the first piece of a bigger project on taming communication overload; you can follow along at clutterstrike.com.
