Hi PH I'm Dochi, an indie dev. I built Cloister because I wanted a focus timer that was neither too simple (a bare stopwatch) nor too complex (a tracker buried in tags and to-dos). I wanted three things: to focus, to keep a record of it, and to be able to keep doing it for years. So Cloister treats the break as a real part of the cycle, keeps everything local on your Mac, and quietly turns your sessions into streaks and a year-long heatmap you can actually look back on.
