We built ClipTray because we were tired of losing copied text, links, and code snippets. The built‑in clipboard on Windows and Mac is too basic, and the popular alternatives either feel clunky, collect too much data, or hide essential features behind monthly subscriptions.
We wanted something simple: unlimited history, tags to organize everything, instant search to find past copies, and syncing between my work and personal computers. And I absolutely did not want another subscription.
