I built this because I was losing weekends to it. I was running YouTube Shorts ads for another app, following the standard playbook: record a bunch of hooks, a few bodies, a few CTAs, test every combination. 10 × 5 × 3 = 150 videos. Simple math, brutal in practice, every one of them meant dragging the same clips into a CapCut timeline in a different order, exporting, renaming. Again and again.
The tools that automate this exist, but they're cloud subscriptions at $79+/month with monthly render caps. As an engineer that bugged me. This is a combinatorics problem. My laptop can do it.
So Clipset does one thing: you drop your finished clips into sections (Hook, Body, CTA, or whatever structure you want), hit Generate, and it renders every combination as a separate file. Plus a CSV of what went into each one, so you can track results.
