This simple app allows me to record clips and take screenshots of games I play on different launchers while just sitting silently in my system tray. It uses a "buffer" styled recording method that allows you to set the length and quality in the settings that it passively records, and once you clip your chosen hotkey, it will save a high-quality clip to where you set the app to save it.

This is great for FPS games, where you might want to show off your killstreak or use it for reporting bugs for games you play or snapping that screenshot you might have missed playing last time! This app is very low resource-hungry and works with AMD and Nvidia encoding with little to no issues.

They also offer a website to host your clips and pass around while also checking out others' clips in their community and even conversing with others! It's pretty streamlined! One thing I love about Clippy so far is that they don't rely on adverts that are pushy or features that make zero sense.

It's a solid little Clippy app!
