I was inspired to build this after moving back to a city I used to reside in when I was younger. I didn't really know anyone besides family, and finding legitimate and honest connections through dating apps was very hit or miss. I wanted an element of platonic connection that no other app that I had prior experience with was able to provide, so I built an app in order to facilitate that.

Why I built Clik and who it's really for

I moved back to Atlanta after several years away and realized I had no idea how to actually meet people. Every app I tried felt like a dating app in disguise. Nothing out there felt like it was built with genuine platonic connection as the actual priority, it always felt like an afterthought.

So I taught myself to code from scratch and spent the past year building Clik. It launched on the iOS App Store two days ago.

If you've ever felt like a city is full of people but somehow still felt alone, then this app was built for you.
