A dozen apps with the same stock icon and the same 3-day trial that quietly auto-converts. These are a few hundred lines of local network code being rented out at $500 a year. So Clicker is the version I wanted to exist. The free tier is the whole remote. It pairs once and remembers your TV. No ads, ever. No account. Works with Roku, Fire TV, Google TV, Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense and Vizio over Wi-Fi. Nothing is collected — commands go phone → TV on your local network, no analytics SDK, no server of mine in the path.
