I'm Obed Anku. My co-founder Kwasi Ansah and I run Cleverbench—a senior dev studio based in East Legon, Accra.
Even when things go smoothly, getting software built can be a hassle. You have to find someone good, agree on a price, sign something, and hope it goes well. Most people just want a capable team to build what they have in mind—without all the setup.
So that's what we built. Cleverbench is a subscription: you send work to a shared board, we pick it up the same day, and our team does the building. You can follow every step as it happens instead of waiting for a status email, and whatever we make belongs to you from day one. The biggest shift for us while building this was realizing that people didn’t just want work done quickly—they wanted to stop wondering where things stood. The moment we made the work easy to follow, the whole relationship got calmer.
