I tried using to-do apps, but they didn’t feel tailored to families, and kids lost interest fast without a fun way to stay motivated. That’s where Chorefy came in. I wanted to build a family-focused chore planner that makes housework feel like a team effort. With clear task assignments, gentle reminders, and a points/reward system for kids, it turns chores into a game instead of a battle. Parents can track progress, kids earn privileges, and everyone knows exactly what they’re responsible for. During development, I focused on keeping the interface simple enough for both kids and parents to use, while adding features like family sync and customizable chore lists to fit different households. My goal was to reduce conflict and build a more collaborative, happy home — one chore at a time. 🌟
