Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Chorebound because most chore apps and habit trackers feel like boring checklists. They work, but they don’t make you want to come back and complete tasks. I wanted something that felt more like a game than a productivity tool. The idea was simple: what if everyday chores worked like RPG quests? Instead of just ticking a box, you’d earn XP, gold, and loot, level up your character, and occasionally trigger random encounters or monster battles while completing tasks. The concept evolved into something that works for multiple situations: families trying to motivate kids to do chores, roommates who want to keep responsibilities fair, couples sharing tasks, or anyone who wants a more fun way to stay consistent with habits. A big focus while building Chorebound was making progress feel rewarding. Even small tasks should feel like you’re moving forward in an adventure.
