I built ChordBeam because, as a keyboard player, I wanted a simple way to understand the chords I’m playing in real time instead of just the chord names. ChordBeam lets you connect a MIDI keyboard and instantly see what you’re playing. It also includes a Chord Library, Theory Wheel, Practice tools, and beginner-friendly learning pages for musicians who want to improve their chord knowledge. It started as a personal tool, but I’m now opening it up for other keyboard players, producers, music students, worship musicians, and anyone learning harmony.
