Chord AI

I really like this idea and product. The use case is super simple to see - how to play your favorite song - and it's actually done really well, I'm surprised by the accuracy of the chords they're able to recognize. Also, from a tech perspective, I love the push for on-device AI, and not uploading and downloading tons of data to remote servers. It makes for a much smoother experience. Thank you for the post Laurent. We have been working hard on this app. Thanks to the recent advances in deep learning in the last few years, we have been able to build a very reliable algorithm for finding chords of a song automatically. Moreover, Chord AI can not only analyze your audio files instantly, but also recognize chords in real-time through your device microphone (hence looking similar as the native voice memo app but with chords automatically displayed). This let you get the chords of any song from a streaming service (Apple Music, Spotify etc.) or YouTube. Chord AI is now able to recognize 168 chords (major, minor, aug, dim, half-dim, 6, 7, M7, add9, sus2, sus4), and this will be improved along with the updates. PS: Android version coming soon in a few weeks :)
