Think beyond the keyboard, trackpad, and mouse: choclift is the third interface for interacting with your Mac. It turns your iPhone into a customizable chocolate bar that lets you instantly switch between favorite and recent Mac apps, trigger Apple Shortcuts without any detours, and use website bookmarks like never before. With a strong focus on product design and user experience, we're just getting started on building the quickest and sweetest way to work with your Mac.

choclift for iPad
Launched this week
A touch-bar to control your Mac from your iPad
choclift now turns your iPad into a beautifully simple touch companion for your Mac...and it feels like pure magic. Launch apps, run Apple Shortcuts, open websites, and add your favorite emojis to any text with a single tap, all from one resizable view.
Connect multiple devices at once, tap an empty tile to add whatever is open on your Mac, and use swipe gestures for quick actions. Now available for free on Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro in eight languages.
Hi, I’m Phil. I fell in love with interface design the first time I used an iPod touch 16 years ago. Until now, I had always experienced apps from the user’s side, so finally releasing one of my own has been a surreal journey.
I always knew that if I ever designed an app, I wanted for it to be an extension of human creativity, and human alone. That's why we've been following a strict “No AI” policy throughout the creative process.
Every part of the product design and visual identity was crafted by hand in Figma before being implemented. That includes every screen, interaction, onboarding step, App Store screenshot, and localized graphic. It certainly made development take longer, but it also means I can proudly say that every pixel, interaction, and idea came directly from the minds of our talented team - without any artificial influence.
I believe choclift stands out through its originality, ease of use, and unmistakable visual identity. That may also be why its first launch in April exceeded everything we had imagined. I never expected choclift to reach 600,000 views and 30,000 users within its first two weeks — and honestly, I’m still processing it.
Since I last shared choclift here, we’ve added the Emoji Bar, expanded into eight languages, and continued refining every corner of the experience. Today, I’m incredibly excited to take the next step and bring choclift to the iPad.
Thank you for being part of the journey — I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. 🍫
