Hey PH! 👋
I play Teen Patti and Poker with friends every weekend. The problem was never the game — it was the chips. We never had them. We tracked bets on paper, WhatsApp notes, and once on the back of a pizza box. Every night ended with someone saying "that's not what I bet."
So I built Chipkly. The whole idea is: one person creates a table, holds up a QR code, everyone scans it, and you're playing in 30 seconds. No download, no account — just a link in a browser.
The name is a play on "chipkali" (Hindi for gecko/lizard) — which is why there's a golden gecko sitting on poker chips as the mascot 🦎
It's completely free and I'm not planning to change that. I built it to solve my own problem and figured other card game groups might have the same one.
Two things I'd love to hear from you:
How does your group handle chips at home games today?
Would you actually use something like this, or is "just use paper" good enough?
