I run chinaready.co — guides on launching software in Mainland China. AI assistants confidently hallucinate Chinese rules. So we opened our fact-checked corpus as a read-only MCP server — one URL, no auth: • search — hybrid search over ~2,700 chunks, all with source URLs • list_topics — coverage • get_article — guides as Markdown One-click install (Cursor/VS Code); verified in Cursor & opencode. Maker here — I run chinaready.co, a small editorial site on launching software in
Mainland China (ICP filing, app-store publishing, China cloud regions, payments,
compliance).
The problem we kept running into: AI assistants hallucinate Chinese regulatory
details with total confidence — "you don't need an ICP license if…" — exactly where
being wrong is expensive.
So we opened the whole corpus as a read-only MCP server. One URL, no signup, no keys,
three tools:
search — hybrid keyword + semantic over ~2,700 fact-checked sections; every result
carries its absolute source URL
list_topics — what the corpus covers, with example queries
get_article — any guide as clean Markdown
The wrapper is a stateless ~300-line Cloudflare Worker (no SDK, no session state),
MIT: https://github.com/chinaready/mcp — and it's rated A on Glama's MCP connector
index.
Try it with: "Do I need an ICP license for a SaaS with no China entity?" — before and
after connecting. One-click install for Cursor and VS Code is on the product page.
Feedback welcome, especially on tool design — what would you want a docs-MCP to
expose next?
