Astra pushed us to think beyond building a simple AI image generator. Instead of treating each generation as a one-off request, we expanded the idea into an agent-style creative workspace where users can describe what they want, iterate through conversation, upload references, edit results, and keep context across the workflow. That changed the ambition of the project significantly. The goal became not just “generate an anime image,” but to build an AI creative agent that can understand intent, manage multi-step tasks, and help users move from an idea to a finished visual through a continuous conversation.
