Build your chess opening repertoire or pick a ready-made one, learn it line by line, drill it until it sticks, then play it against a bot that plays like real people at your level. Import your Chess.com or Lichess games to see where you left your lines. Free, no account needed.

Hi I'm Cheikh. Pattern recognition is important in chess, so I built chesscli to help me remember some lines.
How it works:
• Courses: opening repertoires, or positions to master (tactics, mates, endgames, middlegame plans). Build your own from a PGN, a FEN or the board, or add a ready-made one
• Learn: see each line once with notes; in positions, find the move yourself first
• Practice / Drill: replay your lines from memory, weakest first, until each one is perfected
• Play: test your openings against a bot that plays the moves real players at its rating play, from about 1000 to 2200
• Review: import your Chess.com or Lichess games, see where you left your repertoire, and turn your mistakes into puzzles
It's free, needs no account (your data stays in your browser; sign in only to sync), and works on phone and desktop. I'd love to hear what you'd train first, and what's missing.
