For the last 15 years I've tracked my money the same simple way, with a checkbook-style register. Now almost every money app is a subscription packed with features I don't need. I didn't want something that links to my bank and does the tracking for me. I just wanted an easy way to manage my money, make sure my bills get paid, and stick to a budget, without paying a monthly fee. So I built Checkbook: a simple checkbook app that doesn't collect your personal data or connect to any of your accounts. It's just straightforward manual tracking.
