Paste a URL and see the preview in iMessage, Discord, X, Slack, LinkedIn and more. It fetches the page like the crawlers do, probes the og:image and og:video files, and tells you which apps will play the video. Free and open source.
I built this OpenGraph tag checker while getting og:video running on some sites I run. Recently Apple Messages added support with autoplay (Discord plays it with a tap). Even though the tag has been out since 2010, I expect others to follow quickly now that Messages is popularizing it, so it's worth adding now if you want rich video previews when your links are shared.
Paste a URL and it fetches the page the way the crawlers do, checks the tags against the Open Graph spec, and probes the actual video and image files. Then it draws the preview the way each app shows it. Notably X covers up the bottom of the image with the page title, and a long title covers the whole bottom.
There's a JSON and Markdown API plus an llms.txt, so a coding agent can check its own work.
